I have owned a Suzuki Aerio for 3 years now, and I will tell you for me, it has been a GREAT car! It is good on gas, and actually it is quite roomy inside. My son is 6 ft 2 and has no problems getting in and out. (He is starting to need a bit more leg room though, but that is his problem....LOL)
The Aerio handles well, and it does a great job here in upstate NY on the snow covered roads. I see more and more of them on the roads here.
In the 3 years that I have had it, other than oil changes, the only money I have put into it was front rotors and brake pads.
Not bad as far as I am concerned!
note: I bought my car used too.
Happy car shopping!

I see more and more all the time Gran Viagra's LR-7's and esteam's. And Chevy sells the Aveio. They haven't worked there way up the JD power satification index. People who own basic cars drive them till they won't run any more. Resale are you kidding? Who would buy a used Suzuki unless they know a Suzuki dealer near by. Almost any new car lasts past the payments these days with just oil and air filter changes.

Resale value is shockingly bad. There are a few lenders that will not finance cars from them along with nameplates like Daewoo and Oldsmobile. Reliability varies according to consumerreports.org but is average to below average usually.
