When I push in the clutch on both my trucks, to change gears, the engine continues to rev for at least a second at whatever rpm I'm at or even increases a little. Is it supposed to do this? It seems to me like on the automatics I've owned, when the engine was revved, the rpm dropped more quickly. Is this damaging anything or can it be fixed? And yes I know to let off the gas when pushing in the clutch.

Ok, this is probably implausable but......
If you had a tank of water and two electrodes to split the water into 2 parts Hydrogen and 1 part oxygen.......injected the gasses into a combustion chamber, ignigted the mixture and then somehow transported the waste, ie WATER back to the original tank would this be a feasable sollution for powering motorised vehicles?

I'm considering purchasing the number plate spray which the makers claim can prevent the flash from a speed camera reading the number plate.
Has anyone used this product and does it do what it says on the tin?

They have these claims that the hybrids get such good gas mileage. And they probably do. How much does it cost you in electricity to charge up their batteries? Cause if it costs a lot in your electric bill, why bother? And then there is the cost of a new battery? How often do you have to pay that out? Anybody been through this or have knowledge thereof?

I've noticed a lot of people driving around with black and white oval decals with assorted number and letter combos in the middle like these:

i have seen the autolock on late nite tv for the last couple of years in infomercials, and have wondered if they are worth the money? have the car theives found away around this device and are able to disarm it. does any one know? before i purchase one does anyone think it is a better device than the club. i know with the club the theives can cut through the steering wheel. by putting the autolock on the brake which is made of steel it seems to me a very solid way of protecting your car.

You hear so much about climate control in cars these days, but some people don't have a clue what it means. I had to drive my brother out to a Mercury dealership because his Cougar stalled down, so I drove him to the nearest Mercury dealership, and while he was in the service yard, I parked my car and just started browsing around. I saw a 2006 Subaru near the corner of the dealership. The white sticker on the window listed one of the features as "Climate Control". I opened up the door and started looking around. I really didn't see a difference in Climate Control and that other Mickey Mouse temperature gauge that you find on most cars.

All the future concept cars out there seem to be made just for luxery and comfort. Where is the horsepower. What will we be off roading in. I think its time someone looks for a car that is loud and has a normal gas engine with a few hundred horsepower. Also a truck or something that has insane off road abilities, something that still has the fun of making driving though mud a challenge, but at the same time is more capable. I just dont get who the panzies are that want to drive around in a glass cube powered my a AA battery. I just was thinking electric rc cars are always slow and have the sick goat noise in them. gas rc cars always go about 5 times faster and actually still sound pretty cool. in the future will we all be driving this little 35 horsepower electic cars? Am I the only one who feels like this? I still want power and speed and the growl of a huge engine. Who is thinking of a car for me that i'll be driving in 50 years? I dont mind paying money for gas, its not that bad...
