Gasoline in Canada is measured by the liter. The problem I have was a recent purchase of 10.12 liters, it measured out to 8.87 liters. I get the feeling I got "HOSED" I must say that I wasn't the only one who noticed this rip-off. A U.S quart is .946 liter. Anyone else have an answer or have had the same experience?

I am just curious. I know that different fuels like hydrogen may be used for cars in the future. Does everyone agree on that change? If not, explain why.

I need some help. The finance company says they are going to repo my car. I need to know whether the repo agent can come on my property and break in my garage to get the car that I am delinquent on? California Law? I appreciate any help. I'm not sure how long it will take to repo it and I need to buy some time to come up with the cash.

Mine was a 1984 Ford Aerostar...yuk! It was new when I got it. It broke down on the high way with a bad fuel pump, the sliding door on it broke and would not shut, the battery use to die a lot , I got into an accident it in...was the car's fault, I just know it. The transmission in it blew and to top all of that off, it was plain UGLY. Been driving a Honda ever since!

It wouldn't require new technology, just a safer, lighter, buggy design, and developing some prozac for ponies. There would be more jobs for the unskilled sweeping up and recycling the dookie, and if it required cars to slow down...then oh well, we're living in the information age, slow down and order stuff on line and wait for it to come.

Hi there,

I'm looking to lease my first car and I've been doing research for a while now... I've went through all makes and models and I've finally reached my match (in my opinion) a 2007 Pontiac G6.

It is the V6 3.5L engine with 224 horsepower, 17" Aluminum wheels (it even has those remote starters so you can start it from inside, having that I live in Michigan... I kinda need that in the morning, or i'll freeze to death till I get to school).

With my friends' GM discount I would be looking at $225 / month for a 10,500 mile - 39 month lease (if I recall correctly).

What do you guys think of the car? Is it safe? Were there any recalls on it? Stuff like that... or if you could tell me where I can check stuff about the car in greater detail, I'd be very greatful!

Thanks,

IonutZ~

Does anyone know the difference between these two, and why Mercedes until recently, abandoned the recirculating-ball system.

I know why a lot of mfg's don't sell inline 6 engines anymore(to save money over a V-6), and I was wondering about this.

Thanks!

My brother is having trouble with his car and I'm hoping someone can help me out. His car is both manual and automatic-?? (there is a button on his shifter to switch it) his car wont shift into reverse or drive, it's like it's stuck in neutral, and there is a light on the dash that comes on and blinks that says "manual shift", but we tried pushing the button on his shifter to see if it would switch back, but it doesn't do anything, does anyone know the problem? thx in advance.

MY AC Delco car battery seems to work fine to start my car, but there is a "window" that shows if the battery is adequately charged. Mine shows black, not red, even though the car is used regularly and has not been discharged by leaving the lights on. The mechanic at our gas station declared that this means the battery is not good and needs to be replaced. If so, I will do it. But is that a correct statement?
