i have seen the autolock on late nite tv for the last couple of years in infomercials, and have wondered if they are worth the money? have the car theives found away around this device and are able to disarm it. does any one know? before i purchase one does anyone think it is a better device than the club. i know with the club the theives can cut through the steering wheel. by putting the autolock on the brake which is made of steel it seems to me a very solid way of protecting your car.

There's no such thing as a theft-proof lock. Given enough time (usuaklly only minutes), any and all anti-theft devices will be bypassed by a professional. The idea is to make your car less desireable, by using a visible deterrent that will slow down amateurs. The Club is about the most visible thing you can use, coupled with an alarm system that will sound off if the car is molested.
