I got a dirt bike, I would like to get it alittle faster in the long run. I need a new sprocket soon, it's getting thin and teeth are bending. I got a 51tooth now. is I get a 47tooth. Will I get it alot faster?.. I know I will loose some torque, in low end, but I have so much, so I can spare some.

Ive asked this before but it didnt solve my proble so..

I have a Suzuki Ts50 needing a stator plate.. And the cheapest and easiest option to me at the moment is a FS1E stator.. the both bike are from the same era and have identical fittings, size etc.

Any reason why it wouldnt/couldnt work before i make a purchase?

Bike will stay running with the choke on. When I start to take the choke off I can rev the engine up and it sounds good but when let off the gas it will idle really low and eventually stall out.

the lights and everything work but, when i try to start it, there are no engine sound, but there are the clicking sound that is coming from the starter relay. do it means, theres something wrong with my relay.

my car got repossessed a couple of weeks ago..instead of getting another car(an old car with high monthly payments which obviously i cant afford,plus gas), im planning to enroll on a motorcycle lesson this weekend ,then eventually get a bike....however, i thought "what if it rains hard?""how about during winter?"..im not planning on riding a bike for a long time i just need a little time to be financially ok to afford a decent car..bikers who ALWAYS ride their bike i need your thoughts pls..by the way i live in texas(doesnt snow) and im 23 yrs old..thanks!!

I have a V&H exhaust and want to replace the dented/scratched can. I found this: http://www.bikebandit.com/partsbandit/product~pf_id~3199619~dept_id~1183301.asp which should fit perfect. I'm just unsure of how to remove rivets. Everything I've read says "drill them out". Does that mean drill all the way through them and they'll come out?

I recently cleaned the carbs out on my 1990 Katana 600, they were filthy, so we cleaned them out, also cleaned the gas tank and put a new petcock on. We ran the bike 8 miles and it started popping out and then died. We took the carbs back off and it had lots of dirt in it again? what should i do? What are some problems to consider? Could it be a fuel line problem?

since i took of snapped throttle cablethe electric start has no effect i checked solanoid with screwdriver it turned over when i fit new throttle cable will it start from solanoid if i cant find fault at switch on bars it sounds like its trying to start but not getting fuel

I am trying to sell my 04 Crf 100F Honda and need to make it look nicer. I was wondering where i can get the stickers on each side of the gas tank that say the name of the bike. ALSO i need a chain guard because mine was making the chain fall off. So...where can i find these 2 items? how much?

Everyone said I could not do it and when people find out about it they are amazed that I made it. Why is it so amazing, if you can ride a 1000cc bike across north america why not a 250cc. What I am asking is why is it a big deal that I made it here on a Rebel.
PS. I put 4000 miles in four days and not one thing on that bike whent wrong. I think the rebel is one of the greatest bikes ever made.

it turned over when the throttle cable is on will it bump start i checked the solanoid by touching the 2 terminals with a screwdriver and the engine was trying to start but couldnt because not getting fuel

There are stickers coated with plastic or something on the gas tank, frame and other places. I would like to remove them but without damaging the paint (it's a brand new bike).
