it turned over when the throttle cable is on will it bump start i checked the solanoid by touching the 2 terminals with a screwdriver and the engine was trying to start but couldnt because not getting fuel

right the dream does not have a fuel pump, so if fuel tap is on you should get fuel through,
have you got a spark at plugs???
when you turn ignition on is the neutral light on??
check you have not pulled wire of coils when you ran cable,
HAVE YOU CHECKED THE 15 amp MAIN FUSE ???
along shot you may have pulled one of the wires out that go into head lamp they go in as a bunch but separate into plugs & bullet conectors.

check fuel from the tank filter in tap/ remove carb feed, check petrol getting tru, check floats in the carbs, maybe sticking. starter sw may be faulty if she turns on shorting the solonoid.
check battery maybe faulty try jump leads hope this helps
