I don't remember this happening before, in fact I rode a motorcycle from N.C. to Texas years ago, but I have not rode one in about ten or more years, then I just recently started riding one again, and after 20 or more minutes my right hand starts getting numb or stiff or falling asleep, so what can I do to relieve this?

Do they mean people just wheel them away without the keys? I have just purchased one of these "most stolen motorbikes in the UK" and was wondering how I can keep it safe, at home it will be in a locked garage in a very safe neighborhood, but when I go uni it is highly unlikely to be stolen but just to be on the safe side.

I think it's safe to assume that you're at a greater risk in a motorcycle accident then in a car accident, but how common is an accident in a motorcycle anyway? Is it less, because of the added maneuverability of a bike when compared to a car or truck? Or is it greater because of less stability? I mean, I'm going to assume that it's statistical more common to crash a car then a bike, just because there's a lot more cars on the road. But if the numbers were scaled, what would the comparison look like?

I am planning to buy a 1999 ducati Superbike750 motorcycle and the guy says that the only thing wrong with it is the fuel injectors need looking at. Once the bike gets warmed up they start to act up. Is this hard or expensive to repair and is it the fuel injectors or is it something bigger and what would be a good price for the bike?

Ok so my bike is a 2004 in good shape. It just recently (past two weeks) started stalling when i first try riding it. Basically when i roll up to stop it stalls. WTF is the problem? Carbureter? Choke? What can i do? I let it warm up with the choke on for several minutes but it still stalls for the first few minutes while riding.

Another biker in my riding group is very insistent that I do this to be more visible. I think it's a waste of battery power since I don't think it helps any. What are your thoughts?

I recently acquired an ancient snowmobile engine and need to know how to mix the gas for it. It's a 2 sroke, two cylinder 1974 engine made by Bombardier. 310 cc I think. Is the gas & oil mix 32:1, 40:1, 16:1....? I tried 40:1 and it's not starting. Thanks!

i heard that if you buy a bike and put a sidecar on it, it basically improves the balance of the bike and decreases the chances of it tilting over. im guessing this would happen with ppl who dont go extremely fast on them. is that true or not?

I'm currently reading the book written by him titled, "The Life and Times of Sonny Barger and the Hell's Angels Motorcycle Club", and Barger admits that if he wasn't in the Hell's Angels he'd be riding either a BMW or a Honda. In another interview he talks about how he thinks Harleys are junk and that the balancing system on the 88V motor is "the kind of think a Caterpillar tractor had a hundred years ago". I find all of this very difficult to digest and, in a strange way, makes me lose some respect for my Harley. I know part of the lure and badassness of a Harley is knowing the history of them. On top of that, practically every Harley outfit you can buy these days is modeled after a Hells Angels type look. Whats the point in owning a Harley if the guy that is partially responsible for their popularity thinks they're junk?

When I drive to school there are dead stops! I like that bikes if its under 35 MPH can go between but its also more dangerous but...

Also I heard you get a whole lot better mileage! But maintaining the bike is worse than a car.

I was riding wheelies and I must of scraped the muffler on the pavement and ruined it by it dragging. I broke the seal of the pipe that runs from the middle of the bike to the back end where then it connects to the muffler. The welding appears to have cracked making the exhuats from the cat back to be loose from the connecting pipe. Its an after market exhaust that I wouldnt kinda want to save!!
Any cheap repair suggestions???

Two times the bike has locked up going around corners at slow speeds (thankfully). This bike has only 650 miles on it so need some ammo when we take it to the dealer and hammer him.

I'm trying to get the chain off and it will NOT come. It is off of the rear sprocket and is loose, but it is stuck on the front sprocket. It wiggles a bit but no amount of prying or WD-40 has convinced it to come off. It's almost like the chain is welded to the sprocket. Any suggestions would be welcome.
