There are stickers coated with plastic or something on the gas tank, frame and other places. I would like to remove them but without damaging the paint (it's a brand new bike).

1- heat gun and patients
2- prep-sol - wipe on and remove all glue with this also
3- scrpae it off and polish the clear coat.

Dont use any kind of GOO GONE or other home crap remedy, you will ruin the finish of the bike.

Better leave it to a pro

Use a blow dryer to heat up the adhesive and remove the sticker, then go over the paint with tetrosyl T-Cut.

If you use a heat gun, use the low setting and don't get it too close.

Steam like from an iron or a heat gun which gets allot hotter than a blow dryer. I have both i like steam because of the moisture. the ones on the gas tank are under the clear coat don't even think about taking them off you would have to cut through the clear to even get to them. I've seen it done and it looks like a$$.

there is a product called goo be gone or something like that you just put it on the stickers let it sit awhile and the stickers peel right off and is paint friendly.

hair dryer on low setting, and rub the sticker back. a light amount of goo gone should take care of the left over adhesive residue.

Use a blow dryer to heat them up. DO NOT use alcohol, I did that and it ended up dulling the paintjob. Be patient, it takes time... Leave the bike out in the sun so the glue gets loose...

Take it to a motorcycle dealer so they can see exactly what you're talking about, and ask if using a hot air gun (blow dryer) and plastic scraper will do it. They could advise.

Peanut butter can also be used. It's cheap, and probaby in your kitchen cabinet. Smear it on the sticker and let it sit. The oils in the peanut butter will disolve the glue.

Peal them off. Use soapy water to remove all the rest.

A heat gun would work, thats what I used on my bike after several failed attempts. You can get one anywhere, even wal-mart
