I was very nervos and I did badly on the in and out of the cones. I drove my bike like it was the first time I had ever been on it. Why do they have the cones so dam close together ? It's almost imposible to weave in and out between them. I'm going to try the test again real soon. Is there any advice on getting throught this from anyone.

I was wondering has bought a Street Glide older than a 06? If so, how are they compared to the newer ones? What was the first year that the Street Glides came out? Are there mechcanicaly better year moldels than others, since each year something new in the mechcanic portion of the bike changes? Thanks

I was wondering on how HD engines compare with S&S engines. Nothing like a 127cu S&S but maybe around 98cu to 107cu S&S? I would like to own a HD, around 95-05 model, but have always heard of the HD leaky engine. Plus, in custom bike mags, I always normally see S&S engines, and TP engines, but not willing to pay that much for them. Do newer HD models leak still? Do S&S engines match up to HD trannys? Has anyone ever done this? If so, what was your experince? Please, no one liner answers so you can get kudo points. Are there better websites that I can go to for this info? I would perferably don't want to go to a basis website like HOG.com or something (not sure if thats an actually website, I'm sure it is though) or ask a HD dealer. Does anyone have a S&S engine, and how do you like it? This is without mods, just stock, since there are many options of can be done to higher the output. Thanks.

I was told the head gasket was probably blown and that I could fix this problem if I had some time and minimal mechanical skills ... otherwise this will be around 600-1000 dollers .. Is this true and what all is involved.

i am hoping to get a motorcycle and it will be my primary vehicle. i live in SC and it doesnt rain here much except for during the hurricane season. and it snows maybe once a year. is it possible to have this as my primary vehicle? what do i have to look out for. i am looking for answers from some one who has tried this.

This being my first year on a bike, I've noticed a lot of different trends.

Some people simply do not wave.
Some people seem to wave no matter what.
Some people won't wave to riders outside of their bike's category (sport bike riders-harley/general cruisers)


What rules do you follow?

Me:
In town, its usually more of a head.
I don't usually wave first to other sport bike riders since so many seem to ignore it. but I'll almost always give some sort of finger lift.

....this kind of thing.

Anyone know where to go in Illinois or a connecting state, for an all day road trip? My husband & I both have Harleys and want to take a road trip during Labor Day Weekend. I've heard of the Great River Road, been to Moonshine, and other places. Just need some ideas where there's nice scenery and stops along the way.

I know it has a lot of shine under the faded coating that sits on the surface of the engine, I got to it after 3 hours of scrubbing on a section the size of a pea. Anyone have any tips on that? What is coating the engine after all these years? Thanks.

Well if a guy liked me why does he always criticise the way i look? It's not only that he'll say other girls are pretty in front of me.

he'll always want to see foto's of me, then be critical of them and then admire other girls in front of me. And its like no matter what foto i dig up and show him, he's just never happy with them he'll always want to see more. It hurts that he doesnt like me for me and he always is critical, i wish he'd just get over the look factor and move on to the person that i am, but he doesn't seem too.

Hi all, I'm 17 years old and I've really been interested in getting a motorcycle. The problem Is my parents won't have anything to do with it. I'm going to have to pay everything on my own If I get one. ( They have said If I get a car instead they will help on payments....*Sigh*) I understand where they are coming from though.

What I'm asking is how hard will it be to finance it? Also what will the insurance be like with a clean driving record.

I have been looking at this Kawasaki model, and it will be the one I purchase if I do end up getting one.

I want to get a bike and by the time I will get it I'll have about 5 or 6 mos. of credit history and I will have income. My question is how hard will it be for me to get a loan at all (about $5000)? Also, I have 2 years of work experience (I'm 18), but not all at the same job. I'm not sure if that affects it or not.
