What kind of trailor should i rent and how can i tie it down?

U-Haul motorcycle trailer = $14.95 / day.
The only time my bike was on a trailer was to ride it back after delivering the tow vehicle from NH to NY. This is how I did it. I used 4 ratchet straps to compess the suspension slightly and lock it in.

One that is big enough to support the weight of the bike. A 8' tralier should do it. when I transported my bike, I just used rope to tie it down. I tied it while it was sitting on the center stand. Fore and aft, starboard to port. In other words, I made sure that it wasn't going anywhere. I used 1/2" nylon rope. I didn't have any problems going 1/2 across the country.

trailering your bike is wrong dial 1-800 scared 2 ride!!
