i had to replace throttle cable thepull cable as the superdream has two?

inoticed the push cable was snapped aswell with just the 1 cable its working fine what is the purpose of the other cable ?

Its called a push pull setup, allows for better throttle control and response. If one cable is broke, replace both of them.....keeps it working like its suposed to

The 42 and 45 mm mikuni has two cables one to open and one to close the slide, I don't have a clue what a wet....errr superdream is but on yours the other cable may be thumb operated choke.
