If you add a stroker crank , extended rod(s) and stubbie piston(s) you can increase your displacement.

Put it this way, does putting on clean socks improve your performance when it comes to picking up chicks? Not unless you also have new shoes, suit, tie, slacks, shirt, etc.
A lighter weight crank along with lighter rods and pistons will let the engine accellerate faster (remember the old thing about an object as rest tends to stay at rest?), but lightening up certain components can also cause vibration unless you have the whole works professionally balanced. No offense intended, but hot rod cranks are for hot rod kind of guys, you know, drag racers, flat trackers, racers and so on. I doubt you're one of them, so I doubt you need a crank capable of turning 12,000 rpm for long periods. Save your money for something you need, like new socks.

A forged or hot rod crank adds no performance unless you get a lightened crank and rods. They do add tons of durability when your reving on it over 6000rpm
