Why is it over the past few years that riders (self proclaimed "bikers") feel a need to congregate at the local coffee shop after ridden a whopping 4 miles. They stand around outside and admire themselves. They will talk endlessley about the latest chrome thingy that they had installed. Their leathers have no bugs on them and they shine like a newborns baby bum. God forbid that a cloud might appear while they are sipping their cappucino. Run for home, gonna be a long four miles back to the garage, but they will have a new "war story" to brag about at the next charity run. To those riders out there that ride not to impress or boost your ego but ride to ride, well my hats off to you. Long gray haired biker.

I placed a carbon fiber plate on my motorcycle triple clamp as a protection from key scratches with 3M VHB (very high bond tape) and would like to remove it. And before anyone suggests to call 3M, I tried and waited forever on customer service. Thanks.

ok so I am thinking of going to mmi. the phoenix campus. If I do go I want to take their hontech program. Which once I am done I will be a entry level certified american honda technician. What kind of salary can I expect to make once I graduate from mmi working for american honda as a motorcycle technician?
I have tried looking online but there is nothing really specific I also browsed the questions and answers from other people. From what I have been able to find online motorcycle mechanics make about 30-40k a year. Well I love motorcycles and it would be great to do that for a living. But right now I have a very cushy job. I work 5 days a week. 6 hours a day. and I make 30k a year already. so I am wondering if I should give this job up to pursue a motorcycle career. Of course if I ask mmi or the reading I found on the page try to dazzle it up but they dont say anything about salaries. heres a link to the website and programs available:

I am looking to build a bike and am curious as to the pros/cons of the S&S and the RevTech. Which engine is better, american made, whatnot... I am having a heck of a time finding a comparison of the engines. I'm looking in the 96"-110" range. Most likely for a softail, but my main interest in this post is the engine.
