What kinds of motorcycle engines are the ones that are very quiet. I usually see them with a racing-looking bike. They kind of make a humming sound and you could probably have a conversation by one. Please tell me what type this is and/or how to make a loud one very quiet.

here in the states, gettin on a bike is as easy as throwin a leg over. the endorsement test i thought was too easy, and easily passed on a 1200 sportster. if i were to vacation in england, would my lic. be valid enough to rent my bike over there? what's the bike standards for the uk? have the full endorsement over a year here. the states do have a training course, and unless u are under 18, anyone can hop on a bike of any size as long as they pass the permit test without having to pass the msf course. rice rockets isnt my thing. i prefer cruisers only with either a sportster or dyna wide glide type of look. i'd be lookin to ride engine sizes from 1200cc-1600cc...cruisers only. no sport bikes.

I recently purchased an 89 Yamaha FZR600 bike. It wasnt running when I got it, so I immediatly pput it in the shop. The place I took it to took it apart, then told me they didnt have time to fix it. Now that I have it back its in several peices. I am trying to put the sparkplugs back in, but I dont know what wires go with what plugs, because I didnt take them off myself. Anyone else know????

I've found some courses for beginners, but they're for 21 or under, the only one that seems to have no age restrictions is offered from Harley.

Well, I am 19, I have had my drivers license for a few years, and just got my motorcycle license. Anyway, I was wondering what bike i should buy. I am thinking about buying an OCC production bike, because we have a local dealership that sells them. However, If I do that, I am going to wait until the OCC Black Widow production bike is released (a cheaper production module of OCC's most talked about custom bike ever)

I am buying a 1980 Honda CB650. the original owner bored the engine .060 over and put new jets in the carb to accomodate that but did nothing with the exhaust. The Back pressure is quite high and I would like to know how I go about finding the right size of pipes to get it running at its best. does anyone have any suggestions?
