and she has full gas then i push choke back in and i go to end of my street and turn and go up little hill on way to work and she kind of....sounds like bike is trying to suck up gas properly and occasionally gets excited and reves out a little. is this normal? its just the gas getting through the engine right?

I recently bought an 83 Honda Nighthawk. I took the old aftermarket pipes off to put it back to original, and when I unbolted it, a bunch of half circle flanges came flying out. Unfortunately, I did not see how they were in there. How do you put it all back together?

I have a 1982 KZ440 that the starter has gone out on. I've been looking on ebay and I found a cheap starter for a KZ400 from '75. The casings look identical and should bolt right up and I know that kz400's are almost identical mechanically to 440's.

Can anyone verify that this'll work?

When trying to get a motorcycle license at the age of 18 or older, is it required to have behind the wheel ( or i guess handlebars in this case) training, or can u just take the written test and get your permit?

Hi, I'm new to Sportsbikes, but I really wanna get one. I'm not so much concerned with the price or model ( i'm pretty sure i wanna get a gsxr 600), but insurance seems to be pretty high. Is there a way to just get insurance the couple of month I WILL be riding the bike. I live in NY and only want insurance for like 3 or 4 month is that possible?

Its a carbuerated engine. I was at a stop sign and apparently reved the bike to high and I blew a rod. The bike still runs but very loud knocking noise, local mechanic said it was blown rod. Is it better to replace all the rods, rather then a new engine.... PLEASE HELP..... if anyone interested in purchasing this i can get pictures. It's located in long island NY, many extra's, custom paint.

My grandson wants a Harley Davidson; he is 17. I know he will ride a motorcycle regardless of what I want, so can anyone tell me where I can send him to learn to ride properly and responsibly before he gets a motorcycle? It scares me to death to think about it, but I feel if he learns from an expert he has a better chance of not being seriously injured.

Thank you for helping.

See, I bought an old '83 CX500 engine for $20. Thanks ya'll for the previous help in seeing if it turned over. I have a '72 CB350 which I use as a parts bike for my CB360. Now that I've scavanged all I can off it I was thinking of putting the new engine on it and building a cafe project around it. Can I put that engine on there without basically buiding a new frame to match the likely mismatched engine mounts? Thanks,

Ben

I have a Peugeot Jetforce Scooter where the seat is opened by turning the key in the ignition. I guess it's electromagnetic. I haven't used it for a year or so, and the seat won't open at all. The battery is totally flat, and the battery is located under the seat. How can I open the seat in order to get to the battery to charge it?
thanks, anthony

I know nothing at all about them, but it would be much easier on campus. I can only spend a max of $2000. What brands should I be targeting, and what specifications should I be on the look out for? Also if you know, do you have to take a driving test to get your motorcycle license?

im planning to get a bike from him which he's using over there.
i know that if he is shipping the bike from there when he comes here he need not pay much duties or taxes as long as he is having it for personal use and the bike is still in his name. he is still an indian citizen. what will be the cost if i transfer the ownership to me and what will be the registration charges to change it from u.s. registration to india registration ?

my boyfriends Yamaha R6 YZF had the steering lock smashed in last night in an attempt to be stolen (luckily they failed) and i was wondering, for both of our safety, how safe it will be to ride now the lock has been effectively rendered useless? i dont really know much about motorbikes, and i cant find any info on the net to help, so if anyone has any advice or knowledge about this specific problem, please help me! i understand in order to fix the bike, it will be expenive and time consuming, and considering it is his only mode of transport, that will be, for the time being, out of the question. any help will be greatly appreciated. thanks
