I want to get a scooter, maybe a Vespa or a Yamaha Vino. I don't have a drivers liscence to drive a car, but could I just get a motorcycle lisence without having a car lisence? I really dont see the need for me to get a Lisence for a car, I really have no desire to drive a car, i just really want a scooter so I can kick it around town. This would either be for Pennsylvania, where my home is, or in DC, where i go to school.

runs better when cold yet still has no power to burn out from a stand still fine on the power slides into a turn though,so long as you gently give it throttle, gun it and she'll stall,I have no idea of the specs so its all guesstimating float levels and neddle screws ,and the fuel mix i have heard of is 20:1 lots of smoke and oil dripping from exaust ,inside of the cylinder looks good no deposits or scratches, any suggestions folks would be greatly appreciated

I have this Yamaha (1974 RD60A) sitting in the garage and would like to sell it, but have had no luck finding a website for guidance on what it's worth. It has original everything, however one turnsignal light is broken and the gas lines have rotted out; I actually rode it about 8 years ago, but it has been sitting since then. I have checked eBay for pricing on completed and current sales and no luck; I looked thru Yamaha Rd and found nothing. If you know of a website or have the knowledge yourself, please advise! Thanks much.

I am looking for a sports bike and I'm pretty new to motorcycles, so I was just looking for opinions for which models and makes would be good. I'm about 5"8', 150lbs, and am looking for something fairly fast as far as bikes go.

Thanks for your opinions--

I bought my first bike about 2 weeks ago. Its a 2004 honda cbr 600 f4i . I seem to be doing real well with it but some people say its a bit much for a first bike. What do you think?

What would happen if you life was dominated by the following types of things...

Leather jackets with metal stud/spikes, and/or tassles
T-shirts and bandana's with flames decorations
Black T-shirts and jean's

Alice Cooper, Saxon, Metalica and Black Sabbath
Ynwie J Malmsteen, Queen, Bon Jovi and Kiss
Aerosmith, Rush, Iron Miaden and AC/DC

Motor-cycles, motor-cycles and more motor-cycles

And then you found that there were smells of what resembles after-shave, deoderant a but like Lynx amongst the smell of leather.

This is become a paranormal phenomena, because it takes place without it being planned, pre-empted and would be as if it were an accident.
Just that everything that takes place, happens to be related to this one way or the other, even to the piont that everything you see, hear and witness is related to it, and have no apparent connection.

Synchronisity and co-incidence.
Even your very identity it's self is effected.

Would you love it or hate it?

I'm not 100% sure what the model name is. I think It's an '89 Honda CB400, but I could be wrong. Basically, he's been on dirtbikes since before he could walk, and took excellent care of this bike - his first street motorcycle. It's never been dropped, has been VERY well maintained, and runs beautifully. He's asking $3000 for the bike, but I'm not sure if this is too high, given that you can get a brand new Ninja 250 or used 500 for a similar price. Any advice?

Are they more trouble than they are worth?

Assuming the frame is straight, forks are straight, bike runs well on extensive test drive, doesnt appear to have any major problems that wouldnt be readily fixable, exterior looks good, and so on... what are the odds that you will regret buying a salvage title bike? besides difficulty reselling it
