Nope, the motorcycle licence is taken seperately. I think you have a full licence for up to 50cc (unless the law has changed....was years ago I took mine, motorcycle and car) but that's it.

It used to. But back in the sixties when the British invasion was happening the law makers saw another way to get money from us and decided a motorcycle needed a separate permit and road test and they charge for that. That's when all my friends had bikes and they were mostly B.S.A , Norton and Triumph before the Japanese got into the picture with Honda. Harley hadn't yet introduced the Roadster and few people wanted a big bike like that.Indian was just about out of business by then. Now it's mostly Sport bikes and Harley. But the whole licensing thing is money and nothing more. After you pay for the 2 tests and pass them they put a motorcycle endorsement on your driver's license.DM Drivers Motorcycle.

Yes, in one happy respect: You cannot turn on the ignition key to motor around but your full driving license 02/02 2002 will allow reader to fully recline and 'cover motor bikes' seat fabric to have consensual if kinky 'biker' escapades.

Visit the DVLA main website and see if they have a anything. Mine is one of the old fashioned paper driving licenses and everything is typed out on it, such as how big a vehicle can be driven by the holder of same also about bikes. I believe you are allowed to drive/ride a motor bike, but we're really only talking something with a lawnmower engine in it and not a Zundap or whatever you are thinking of roaring off on.

if you have a full car licence after 01/02/2001, you must take a CBT test to ride a 50cc scooter

It just covers mopeds, but first you will have to do a CBT (compulsory basic training) course before you can legally ride on the road. To get motorcycles you will have to apply for provisional Category A.

No. You take your Driver's License for a particular class of vehicle. You probably took one to allow you to drive a car. It does not allow you to ride a motorcycle. That is a separate test.

You can ride up to 125cc on a full car licencse without having to do a CBT test. Anything bigger than 125cc and you need to do the bike test. Hope this helps.

Fraid not, You need to get your motor bike license. A CBT (Compulsory bike test). Even for scooters you need this certificate.

You can ride up to 50CC, but above that you need to do a CBT (compulsary basic training). Once you pass that you can drive up to a 125cc with L plates. To ride above that you must then take the full motorbike theory and practical test.
