Once the battery is disconnected, the belt light comes on and the computer has to be reset. Is that what you want to do? Turn off the belt light?
I don't remember the "exact procedure.
--Turn off the key (make sure the battery is connected and charged).
--There is a wire coming out of the belt cover (right cover). Disconnect it.
--In the area of that connector is a black and a gray connector. Disconnect them.
--Plug the gray into the black one and the black into the gray one.
--Turn on the key (either it's for 5 seconds, or until the belt light flashes, stops flashing or goes out).
--Then turn off the key and plug all the wires back together properly.
--Like I said, I don't remember the "exact" procedure. No damage will come to your vehicle if you do what I just wrote.
--Anyone attempting to work on their own vehicle should own a shop manual. When in doubt, check it out -

in case you haven't any longer ever ridden a motorcycle formerly I strongly propose retting the 250, purely reason the cost and skill a 650 has isn't well worth your existence, be sure you provide to plenty throttle and lose the motorbike, additionally once you acquire the cost it is perplexing to no longer attempt it out! Getting the 250 provide you the texture for the motorbike jointly as perplexing braking accelerating turning and close call situations! And to boot that, you will prolly lay it over and doing that with a 250 vs a 650 is very much less coronary heart breaking, you are able to constantly commerce the 250 decrease back once you get journey!
