go for a resteration put it back how it was have the frame sand blasted then powder coated rebuild the engine and go for a full repaint re cover the seat as well i saw a fully restored rd 350B coffin tank in blue pull fantastic money it as all rechromed new tyres head lamps it was the same as i used to own only mine was a shed in compaison
its not cheap but 70`s 80`s japs RD LC X7 SUPERDREAMS CB KH that are in top notch get proper good money
restore it and ride with pride

In addition to what was already posted (making it look "new" to begin with), I'd try finding a small bikini fairing (with small windshield) for it, I don't think you'd have much luck with a full fairing, but maybe you could find a Ninja 250 fairing, that might fit the size of the bike. Then of course paint the fairing with the Suzuki graphics, something new looking and custom with the "RD350" name on it. Maybe make up a modern sounding name with RD350 in it, like "RD350 ssY" or something. I'd also update the seat and rear feder/tail section, as the RD350s banana style seat is way out of date. Use newer style signals, like the small aftermarket ones, and newer rearset pegs. Wider rims and tires, as your enginuity will allow (maybe have to widen the swingarm and change to modern forks).
