Hi!!

I am a 21 year old guy. I had a bad accident on my bike on 12th november while street racing. Me and the guy I was racing with(whom I didnt know) fell at over 100 KPH on a busy street. I barely escaped death. I lost my phone in the accident too. Although I wasnt severly injured (no broken bones or something) and my bike also was lucky and there was not much damage, but it has affected me deeply. I want to add that I am a budding professional racer and I am really good at bikes. I love my bike a lot and was just a emotional wreck for the 1st week and couldnt think clearly. Now, I am much better but I have lost all my confidence. I just cant ride the way I used too. (I have stopped all street racing) I have even been challenged by a much-less experienced guy for a race whom I would have easily beaten anytime in a race but I just dont have the confidence to race again. I am afraid to face him in a race. I did the Zung test for depression and scored 49(at 50 you need a psychiatrist

Hi,

I would like to run my jap 600cc sportsbike (4cylinder 4stroke) on bio-ethenol fuel or a mix including a high percentage of bio such as E85 (85% bio).

Is this possible? What modifications will be needed? What perfomance changes will I see?

If this is not possible, how else can I make my motorcycle greener without loosing the fun factor?

Thanks in advance.

Just bought a '76 Honda CB360T that was missing the carb. This is my first bike, and I still haven't found a repair manual so I'm having problems figuring out some of the parts 'technical' names which I really need to know in order to find them. I bought a carb for the bike and put it on, however afterwards I realized I was missing the tubes that attach to the bottom of the carb, and also the tube (or tubes) that go from my petcock to the carb (which I'm assuming is just considered the fuel line). Anyone know if I can buy all these as a set somehow? Thanks in advace,

Ben

There are many questions related to 150cc or smaller, which are obviously not really motorcycles. Do we need another classification for these?

I'm interested in getting a motorcycle. Would love recommendations. I don't know if it makes a difference but I'm 5"2 and 110 lbs. Am looking for a bike that handles well.

This bike belonged to my father who only rode it one time after he bought it from a used dealership. He said it was too hot for him to handle. He had the bike fully serviced then put it in storage where it sat for over 20 years. The storage unit was in the middle of the Arizona desert so it "cooked" for many years. I don't know anything about bikes, but when I checked it out I discovered the gas tank is full of rust and the brake fluid is crystalized. Other than that all I know is there is no rust on the exterior anywhere, no dents, scratches, tears, etc. Have no idea if it is worth restoring to ride or even where to begin. My biggest question is what kind of expense would I be looking at to get it road-worthy. The only motorcycle shop in town said they wont even look at it without a $500 deposit. That sounds a little steep to me and money is tight. I dont even know what a bike like this would be worth. Thanks

I have been told over the years that the roads to Alaska has been very poor and several miles in fact are rock. Can someone verify this or are the roads suitable for motorcycles?
Second question is, would it be better to go futher north into Canada and then head west to maintain better roads,
Third question is, are there gas stations at least every 100 miles.

Im splitting the case on my '02 YZ250 and dont know which way to turn the bolt on the right hand side of the crank. Looking at the right side, the crank turns clockwise when running which suggests to me that the bolt would be left hand threads. There are no markings on it and the part doesnt cross reference as a left hand bolt.

My motorcycle's manual tells me that the optimal tire air pressure is 25psi for the front wheel. At what level of discrepancy in psi reading should I be concerned that I need to adjust tire pressure? Is a difference in +2 / -2 OK? What if it is +5 / -5? How exact should this be?
