I have eliminated all my handlebar switches, I want to run an on/off and start switch and dimmer switch. In what sequence do I have to run the wires, and do I need and breakers or fuses?

You will not need new breakers but you will probably need a solid state module.
Try a company named "Bad Lands" for that.
I can't post links anymore but you can Google it.
Wiring is very simple just take off the seat and tank and trace the wires to the front where they are all clustered into the headlight (you will probably want to pull the wires out of the headlight so that you can run them straight to the area under the seat)
All of the wires are color coded so it is not difficult to figure out.

The EGlide fat bob setup is nice for that. EGlide is just a fancy sporty. with a different bore and stroke. But the electrics can be interchanged. Yes you need the Fuses, may wanna go Inline Fuseable Links. keep spares in the bag.
