A friend and I got ourselves motor scooters last year. She says that when a car wants to pass us, we should slow down, get into a single row, and let them pass. I feel like we should get into a single row, keep the same speed, and let them pass. Who is right.

It's a small map that is mounted on the motorcycle with little markers to put on it when you have ridden in a state.

Seriously. This is a blunt question. How did each and every one of you here afford to buy one? Like what jobs do you have, how much do you make, and how long has it taken you to save up for one? 10 years??? Like I make $1000 (Canadian) a month, and most goes to bills! Its impossible to save anything. And then theres the motorcycle insurance you have to pay on top of it every month, which is about $156. But they're good on gas so you don't got to worry about that eh? Ok... so I've done some online looking, and for a decent low-end motorcycle it costs $5000. This really sucks.

I have an 81 with 9000 miles on it. On a ride it stopped charging. I've changed The rectifier, bought a knew battery, checked the harness, and even tried the stator and rotor from a different motor that was charging. I'm stumped!!! Is there any thing in the case to check? Any feedback is VERY much appreciated. Thanks.

Hi, I can't think what it could be. Both headlight and 'sidelight' both work on their own fine, but when you switch on to 'fullbeam' the right indicator comes on and stays on!
The bike can't be ridden like this so an asap response would be very helpful.
Thanks in advance.

No, I'm not going to drive out onto the road with no lessons- I need to know the basics in order to write part of my novel, where one character teaches another to ride a motorbike. If anyone can give me some names of parts or basics in riding (I don't need the things like going round corners or overtaking) I would be very grateful.

I am looking for a website that has a very large selection of parts for a 1965 Yamaha 250cc twin motorcycle. I can find a few sites that sell just lights but thats about it. Anyhelp would be appreciated. I have tried several local yamaha dealers and they can't even get me an air filter for it.

My little Hyosung GV-250 has a reliable gas guage and tachometer. Never thought about looking for those things on my new bike. Luckily my new (used) bike came with an aftermarket tach. I'd hate to be without that. But I miss the fuel gauge. Am I doomed to a life of switching over to the reserve tank and back all the time?
