I've seen statistical data that proves just the opposite. People on loud bikes become complacent, thinking they're presence is more obvious to other drivers, and get into more accidents as a result than those riding stock exaust systems. It's true.

How do you restrict a bigger bike (e.g 600cc) so it can be used by a learner; and is this expensive?

I'd rather buy a bike i wanted to keep and have it temporarily restricted until i pass my test in March, than have to buy a bike now and another larger bike in March.

Can this be done, is it practicle and what are the costs involved.

* Were talking about a normal bike (600cc) not a zooped-up super / hyper bike.

i recently passed my test and am looking to upgrade my 125 to something with more...oomph!
suggestions? nothing that would scare the bejesus out of me please...
something fairly cheap on insurance, easy to ride, not to much plastic for me to smash, and doesn't drink fuel.

i found a black panel and undid the screws and opened it up. oil spilled everywhere.... turns out i had just taken off the entire oil canister or whatever it's called. i cleaned it up kinda, added more oil, and looked some more, and now i'm back where i started. i still can't find this battery.

Yesterday morning I started my motorcycle fine. Then I tried to move and it shut off. I did the same thing a couple more times. After that, it simply wouldn't start. When I push the ignition switch, it doesn't sound like it might start, it just makes a choked-up kind of clicking noise. It's been like this about 26 hours now. Anyone know what's wrong?

I've seen riders rding around with their helmets attached to the rear side of their sportbikes via the cowl. Is this some kind of lock mechanism? I want one so I can lock my helmet to my bike without having to carry it. I always where my helmet when riding.
