Most bikes have the battery under the seat. A Suzuki VS 800 has the battery under the frame just behind the motor. Some bikes have the battery between the motor and the rear wheel. Take your side covers off and you'll see where the battery is if it is between the motor and rear wheel. Hope this will help.

Book price is a joke. Always was, especially for motorcycles. The bike looks decent, and that's a reasonable price in my area for one with no problems. (your stated price, not the asking one) Find out why it needs a battery! A simple battery is only about $35. A cheap investment to help a bike sell. Dead batteries make me ask questions (as you can see). Bad batteries also put excess strain on the charging system. Many bikes have needed more electrical work because the bad battery caused other components to burn out. A regulator/rectifier is a pricey part.

You must be new to bikes. First, what kind of bike is it? If you don't know usually it says on the side of the gas tank. Then look this name up in the phone book and ask them. If you don't want to do this, then try looking somewhere beneath the seat. This may require removal of the seat and/or any side panels. Haven't you ever checked it or charged it? It must be dead, right?

Like has been said. Most batteries are either under the seat, or behind one of the side panels below the seat on the frame.

The real question is how does a dumbass like you make it to the
end of the day alive.
Sell your motorcycle for at least 75 dollars, then head to Target and purchase a Huffy Flyer. Pay the extra 10 bucks to have it assembled.

how about telling us what kind of bike it is. Try looking under the seat. That is where most of them are.
