My bike was running fine when i parked it about 2 months ago. I foolishly let it sit outside on the patio in the weather, uncovered. The temp. is supposed to get into the 20's tonite,So Today i finaly made room in the basement for it and it wouldnt start. It does turn over..and it trys to Fire from time to time.i hooked the battery charger up to give it an extra boost and turned it over for a minute and it ran for a second at a very low idle...that was at about half throttle. its electric choke and fuel injected. i noticed a gas smell and kinda like steam puffing from the exhaust a little? any suggestions?

Am only 4' 8" tall (or small depending on opinion). My dream is to have a Yamaha Cygnus X 125 in Jade. Unfortunately, it's too high. One retailer even lowered the seat by removing some of the padding. STILL too small. Anyone know of Motorcycle company that has same model for smaller legs (preferably 600mm or less) or a cheap (but not shoddy) way of getting an ordinary one and getting it adapted to fit me. No short jokes. Really want this bike . Help, please......!

After i reinstalled a exhaust(it was clogged and i cleaned it out),
I started it up but the RPM drops little lower then normal idle(for my bike it was about 1500), and dies.
I looked up the book and adjusted the idle screw....but for some reason, i kinda played with the "right hand carburetor pilot screw(idle mixture screw)".but not left
I just looked at the picture and didn't realize what i was doing...
However... I ONLY touched righthand idle mixture screw little and idle screw. On the way, the bike would not go up more then 6000 at FULL trottle....it used to be really sensitive...
and while i was in parking alot...it stoped... It starts only when i put it on choke and I HAVE TO pull a trottle a little...while kicking.
After it starts, i pull a full trottle, it works like before..all sensitive and going up RPM and everything, but after i put it on gear and drive, RPM just don't go up and if i stop, it DIES again even i pull the full trottle, RPM just DROPS

Help me please

A couple of weeks I had posted a question regarding advise for a 2007 Honda Shadow Spirit 750 c2 or a 2007 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Custom. As you see I got the 900 Custom and I think I made the best choice so far. THANK YOU for your advise.

My new question is:
What type of fuel would I need on this new 900 Custom??? On the manual its kind of confusing but I believe it says 90 or higher. This question is not about the money but for the best performance. In my experience the higher octane sometimes made a difference with my vehicles but since this is my first motorcycle then I need your advise again. The last thing I want on my new bike is knocking or some sort of problem. So if 92 or 93 really makes a difference for better then please let me know. Thanks in advance for your advise!

I got Suzuki Intruder VS800. Yesterday at night my bike didn't want to start, there were bunch of "specialists" ready to help. I don't know much about the bikes, so I let them do the work. They were trying to do the jump start with the car ON. My battery was too weak to start it up but all light were on (lights + controls). After their "operation" there's no life in my machine. No lights at all. I've changed the battery today for brand new. No effects. What else can be wrong? I appreciate any help.

Alot of other bike makers are equiping more of their Cruisers with Fuel Injection, why hasn't Honda?

I believe the only bike (Cruiser) that Honda produces with EFI is the VTX1800.

Harley and Victory have equipped most of their line up with EFI.
Kawasaki has the 1500 Vulcan, Mean Streak, and Vulcan 900.
Suzuki has the Boulevard C50, Boulevard C90 and Marauder 1600
Yamaha has the Stratoliner/Roadliner and Road Star Warrior

that one could ride a chick comfortably on the back, is not made out of plastic and pot metal and looks sharp. Additioally one that would hold 75% of its value even after 10 years would be a plus.

Does anyone know any place to buy cheap dirt bikes in Vietnam? Now chinese makes cheap bikes but cannot find any dealer. Importing is much more expensive than buying in a local store but I don't know where to buy. I searched everywhere.

Im looking to buy a motorcycle and some ads specify that the bike is street legal. Does that mean that not all bikes are street legal? If so how can you tell, does it vary in different states?

Spark on #1 and 3 is very strong. Spark on 2 is not visible but when I remove from spark plug while engine is running the engine dies.
I'm wondering if there's a way to check the spark unit or pulse generator before spending too much coin.
