If you do find a front end that is compatible with that bike, The handlebars will conflict with the cut-outs in the fairing. The fairing will most likely have to be modified. Just wanted to give you a heads up before investing tons of money.

1/11/07 - I just thought of something that might solve your dilemma. Remove the clip-ons. Drill a couple of holes in the upper triple clamp and install "handlebar risers". Then you can install conventional handle bars. You can get them from aftermarket companies. Jap cruisers, the standard risers are removable, so you can use them. I can't tell you how that would affect the triple clamp (in the strength department). But it's worth a shot.

Try Demon Tweeks they can supply bar risers that fit to the top of the yolks so you can fit Renthals. To be honest a new front end would cost more than the bike is worth you can buy a complete Suzuki 400 Bandit for £400-£500 and put Renthals straight on.

If you want to be a cheapskate buy a superdream handlebar clamp unit from a breakers or ebay, it just bolts onto the top yoke.
Cost around a tenner and has clock mounts on it too. There are a few people on ebay breaking them.
