i have 76 honda CJ360
i had it for a month and it was running good and everything
i am not sure if it is relevent or not but it's got some rain yesterday but it was not first time it got rained over.
I started today and there was black powderly smoke out of exaust
everytime i rev it up
it then started to kinda like back fire every 5sec or so.. but it sounded like puffy sound not loud back fire sound....
it also had a leak where tip and the pipe meets, but i am not sure if it was there before or i just found out because it was black smoke, so that i could see it well.
WHAT DO I DO?
is it bad??

thank you.,

jun

can someone please resolve this family debate, myself, my 10 yr old son, and my fiance are having.my son (10 yrs, 75 lbs) is a dirtbike junky and wants to retire his yz zinger for something bigger with more power. He and my fiance insist that he is NOT to small for a kx 80, but I've seen this bike in action and just can't see him controlling this bike. I agree that he needs something bigger, he rides excellent,he has the interest and passion for this sport but I'm just not comfortable with this bike. He wants a two stroke, so does anyone have any other suggestions for a good second bike.ty

i've checked sites to learn the make and model, but the closest prefix match i saw was the mexico plant one at 3h1... and i think that's for newer bikes. i'd say this one is around the early to mid seventies... and maybe a 600? two cylindar. any help would be wonderful. i'd love to rebuild it.

Chances are if your already a Motorcycle rider with years of experience, I want to know if YOU would still ride even if you KNEW that you were going to end up dieing on a motorcycle.

None of us want to die on a motorcycle, but I want to know if the benefits of being a rider would make it worth it to you anyways.

I'm going back to motorcycling after many years and I am taking a refresher course and generally getting kitted up ready to collect my new Triumph T100 later this month. One thing I haven't been able to get a grip on is the best way to keep a modern motorcycle really clean and smart. Sounds a bit nieve I know but the whole scene has changed beyond all recognition and I am really out of touch

What do you Sabre riders like as the best sounding after market pipes for a Sabre. I've had DG Hard Krome slip ons before and they sounded great, but were too load for my taste. I also don't like the sound or loadness of V&H long shots.

people always say a ninja 250cc. this bike is barely better than a scooter it is not fun and it will only turn you off of riding because you wont fully get the best experience. it is better to get a pre scuffed or one wit salvage title because there cheaper but don't listen to people say you'll probably fall. i bought a 98 yamaha 600rr for my first bike and im disabled my legs are very week and sometimes my shifting foot does not work. I ride my bike every chance i get (weather permitting.) and have never put it down. and I highly reccomend getting a 600cc bike for your first bike you will never get tired of it. you may one day go up to a 750cc or 1000cc but you will always love your 600cc. and 600cc bikes are easy and very fun to ride im 225lbs and easily get up to 140 miles per hour. if you buy a 250cc bike you will hate it within 1month. this bike is for little teenage girls who are scared to ride.
