THAT is one good question. REALLY tough tho and soooo hard to answer. If I knew that I'd die riding a cycle would I still ride. Well, would I be told what I would die of if not riding a cycle? How about cancer, will I have some long drawn out painful disease like cancer if I don't get wiped out on a bike? Then I'd take the cycle death I suppose. Or in a car wreck? Maybe it would be the same exact accident in a car instead of a cycle and I'd get killed either way? In that case, sure I'd take the cycle wreck. OR for example if I don't get killed in this cycle accident I'd live to be 102 and go peacefully in my sleep, and it was a pretty good run, I found something to enjoy, say flying a private airplane around and just had a hell of a good 102 years w/o the cycle? Sure keep me off the bike. No one has that crystal ball though so I'll continue to ride. Only 1 Guy knows how long you have on this ol dirtball before you punch your timeclock for the last time, and He ain't talkin'!!

I'll assume the absurdity of being asked to make a non-choice (if you KNOW you will die on a motorcycle...it is impossible to choose not to ride) is not what you intended.
Given that there's only one certainty defined in the question, one can assume any number of nuances that makes such a fate quite acceptable, if not downright attractive. For one thing, it assumes that you are of sound mind and body, enough to navigate a motorcycle. Let me tell you. If I could live a rich and fruitful life, with little to regret, and I have to leave this world by means of a motorcycling mishap when I'm 90...then so be it.

believe it or not I have died on a motorcycle. It was Aug 05 going down the road in my home town and this lady turn left into my lane I hit the front of her car. The bike stopped but I didn't, flew over the car landed on road on arms and head. Both arms crushed, brain split open by 1 inch. The paramedics tell me I was flat lined for about 5 Min's. Came to 6 days later in hospital awakening from a coma.
I don't know about knowing before I rode that I was going to die, but If it was possible for me I would get on another Harley-Davidson Motorcycle right now and ride man ride. It is one of the best feelings in the world to me.

I am a motorcycle rider and I can say for sure that I would not ride a bike again if I knew I would die, my two cousins died in a motorcycle accident together, I wish they knew. I would not allow me to die if I could prevent it, my wife and family need me as I do need them, so no unnecessary risks, I have not ridden a bike in two years, but will again, god help me on my journey...

Of course. Knowing I was going to die doing what I love and not hanging on medicated or rotting in an old folks home sounds good to me. Also, riding a bike is part of who I am. If I were to stop riding a part of me would die. So, I guess I'd rather go out completely enjoying life rather than living it half dead.

Absolutely! I have ridden since I was 25 (62 now) and rode for our local police department for ten years. Owned many bikes and I'm still dedicated to 'em. I would much rather die this afternoon on my bike than linger with cancer or any other disease or die in almost any other way I could think of. The worst ride I ever took on a bike was better than the best ride I ever took in a cage...K ;o)

Considering the horror of spending my final days in a hospital or nursing home, I'll take my motorcycle. At least I would die doing what I love.

This one seems to almost go into a question of fate and free will here. If I somehow got a 100% certain prophesy that I would die on a motorcycle, I wouldn't stop riding for the simple reason that trying to cheat fate never seems to work in stories about a prophesy of doom. It didn't work for Oedipus's father. It didn't work for MacBeth. And it didn't work for the protagonists of a zillion of hack stories where lesser authors have recycled those plot lines. Trying to avoid a prophesy of inescapable death always makes things worse.
Now, where'd I put my helmet?

I would continue to ride safely and attend regular advanced refresher classes, then that day may take longer in coming. Also I would continue to wear the correct safety gear at all times to prevent a minor accident becoming a tragic accident....... that day may well come eventually however YES I would definately continue riding
