Your "mini" dirt bike is probably not street legal, so you can not ride it on the street at any age. Off-road use has no age requirements, but you need permission of the property owner where you are riding. I have seen kids as young as 4-5 riding small bikes, but the speed of the bike should be limited to prevent any serious injuries during falls that will happen.

Mini bikes or mini dirt bikes are usually not eligable to registered for road use so they can only be used on private property or on designated tracks .
As a result you do not need to abide by any age restriction.
HOWEVER , if the bike you are buying is road registerable and has been licensed for raod use then 16 is usually the minimum age in most countries, but usually you have to have done a test first to get your licence

In my country NZ you don't ride dirt bikes on the road and my boy is 6 and has been riding for 2 years, maybe that's why Josh Coppins is 2nd in the world he started at about the same age and some kids start at about 2 or 3 yrs old, by the way Josh comes from my town Motueka in the sunny Nelson province of NewZealand

I Tennessee you can be 14 to ride on the roads but only within 10 miles of home.The bike also has to be 125 cc or lower.

depends where you live and whenever your parents say you can.parents is the bottom line . i will never leave my kids do it for the one reason i wouldnt be able to live if something ever happened to them and it would of been my choice so mine at 18yrs old will do it when they can decide for themselves and buy it them selves that way i wont have any guilt on my part no offences kids. kids are too precious to parents to leave it go to waste!
