I have had a GZ250 for almost 2 years now and I love it. I like the styling better than the Rebel. Bottom line, go sit on them, get a feel for both, and get whichever one you feel comfortable on. I love my GZ, but now that I have some miles under my belt I am shopping for something a little bigger, like a Honda Shadow 750. Take the class and have fun. I did and I loved it. Good luck and be safe!!

There are a lot of motorcycles in the 250 class to look at, and most are really easy to learn to ride on. Choose whichever one you would feel the most comfortable sitting on for an extended period, that you can afford.

Either is a fine bike, although I'd wager that you will find the Suzuki more comfortable to ride. Other things to consider are dealer location, dealer reputation-support, and price.

Both are fine smaller bikes. I'm a little partial to the Rebel. Wouldn't want to buy one cheap would you???

If you want a small bike, you should look into a Yamaha Virago 250.
Much better than either of the others.
