The Hero Honda Glamour and the Bajaj Discover are both competitive bikes and hence you cannot really go wrong with anyone of them.
By noise I assume that you are referring to engine refinement. There is nothing much to differentiate the engines. Both are quite smooth. At normal rpms the Discover is better refined than the Glamour. But in higher rpms the Discover engine tends to be marginally louder than the Glamour engine. But this is just the noise and the engine remains relatively smooth. The Discover with its DTS-i technology has got a very distinctive sound.
The gearbox of the Glamour is quite smooth but not anywhere slick as on some Yamahas. The gearbox of the Discover is smooth too but I have noticed that it takes a few hundred kilometres initially before the gearbox kind of ‘frees up’. But still it cannot be called the slickest gearbox. Both has got scope to improve and I would rate them at par.
The pick up and mileage gives interesting stories. I have tested the mileage on the Super Splendour which has identical engine. The power of the engine is behind the Bajaj’s by a big margin and hence the Glamour/Super Splendour twins are quite behind the Discover when it comes to pickup and speed. The Discover engine is a really good unit and has healthy torque and power output. Now that the Hero Hondas are behind in power we might expect better mileage; but alas they flatter to deceive. The best I got was nearly 60kmpl; whereas the Discover can touch 65kmpl in regular usage. It might be that we unknowingly stretch the Hero Honda engines more in regular usage.
The Bajaj build quality is still behind Hero Honda. But on an average it should be quite okay.
Look wise I personally find the Glamour a bit amateurish. It looks a bit too flashy for my taste. Almost each body panel is covered with some kind of sticker or the other. The Discover in comparison looks balanced with just the right amount of sportiness. But then beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder.
I hope I have answered your question with enough details. Now the decision is yours! But if I were to decide I would got for the Discover DTS-i.

Hello,
Your choice has to be BAJAJ discover dtsi only......
Discover is truly a leader in all the points that you have mentioned. You don't have any other bike, which has more power & average both. (Thanks - DTSi technology) This bike is a perfect balance of these two parameters.
Also, this bike has really good ride comfort, the SNS suspensions are really comfortable alongwith much quiet engine.
You can maneuver it really well in busy streets and also it is very steady on high ways.
In all, it is perfectly tuned engine for 125cc segment, hitting a perfect balance between power, average, vehicle dynamics, and noise giving a smooth and comfortable ride.

I have a glamour, dont know much abt a Hero Honda...
I own Hero Honda Glamour for more than a year now. I am pretty much satisfied with this bike
except a few things. I had pretty much experience on Hero Puch Shakti and Bajaj Super scooter. Here are few aspects which I kept into my mind while buying Glamour.
I wanted a 125CC bike but not from start. Actually I also did a research on bajaj-pulsar-150CC and Honda-unicorn. Infact 3 of my friends bought pulsar 2 month’s prior to mine. but unfortunately all of them met accidents and two of them had major ones. Here I am not complaining anything, but it just happened and I hence I decided to go for 100-125 CC segment.
Look: I gave it highest weightage. In the segment which I was looking for, no bike is even near to the looks of Glamour. I just love the look.
Milage: I kept the boundary to be 55 kmpl thinking of bangalore’s roads and traffic jams. :-( It is giving 50+ for me. But for one of my friend who went for discover it is 2-4 kmpl more than this.
Brand name: Hero honda is much recognised and trusted brand of india. I am getting pretty good service and attention from my dealer.
Riding comfort:It’ s really cool here. Pretty good shockers, u feel it like knife on butter on highway.
Noise: It makes more noise than discover.

The best bike is Bajaj Discover dtsi
BECAUSE,
noise=very low,
gear=good,

Go for Discover 135 if you r a youngster and want some good power and torque to zip in cites. Mileage is 60kmpl. Go for Glamour for decent mileage, 80kmpl. Discover won't require frequent gear shift even at slower speeds.

I think u should better go for hero glamour it best in one of it's own kind .
it has a sover looking bikes
it has a strong engine then bajaj discover
You can take your bike upto 80kmpl and still you won't find any vibration
it has a good catch to road
the only demerit is it's milage it wont give you more than 50 in comparison to discover
if milage is not a issue I advice you to go for
"GLAMOUR"
