My mother's motorcycle, a Honda Goldwing 1100, is making a ticking nose after getting the fuel pump replaced. It's a 1985 model, so does it even have a fuel pump?

For those of you who live in a cold winter climate like me, you got motorcycle cabin fever yet? I put mine in storage in October, but we have had such goofy weather here (Western PA) with everything from snow to 65 degree days. I'm already itchin to go, and we still have like 3 months to go!! I love to ride, but I'm not hard core enough to go out in the cold. Plus, I don't want all that salt on my bike, and some places still use cinders on the roads too. So how bout you guys?

Tell me if you know anything about this.
I overheard two police officers talking about how they can use their laser speed gun to get a reading off of the front wheel of a motorcycle that makes it appear that the motorcycle is going much faster that it really is.
It makes sense to me since the rotation of the upper part of the front wheel is moving toward the laser gun much faster than the motorcycle actually is.
The same would apply to the rear wheel inversely if it was viewed from behind.
Unfortunately I live in a City and surrounding area where speeding fine scams are big revenue generators and a frequent occurrence.
And since it is always assumed that if you are riding a motorcycle, you are always speeding there is very little defense against this.
Please don't lecture me about how the police are just doing their job and how difficult their life is and silly diversionary arguments like that.
I don't dispute that.
I am simply asking if anyone else has heard of that practice

...and whilst nicely banked-over on a right hander....

...a Baby Blade etc [CBR/VFR400] rips past on your inside, holding a tight line - his left hand indicating a reverse-facing middle finger.....

Do you...

1. Cog, cog, whaaa! And 'put the world back to rights'....[thinking - the cheeky barsteward!]

2. Swallow the insult.

Personally, I'd 'ride the edges of my rims' to correct this one!

I have taken off the clutch plate on my bike and I am putting on a new gasket. I was unsure if I should use a gasket sealer with the new gasket. I am just learning about working on bikes so any information would help. I would also like to know of any web pages good for buying motorcycle parts.

My husband and I just had our first granddaughter. Before she was born, the parents told everyone that her name would be IX Dawg. The rest of the family and friends are buying the usual baby gifts; however, I was wondering if anyone knows of someone or somewhere who could provide a personalized baby motorcycle jacket. We don't have a lot of money to spend and it wouldn't matter if she couldn't fit into it for a couple of years, but I know the parents would love it. Thanks all.
