when it comes to riding on the street , of all the motorcycles ive had. the enduros were just far superior in heavily congested areas of the bay area. if i take a dirt bike and put a kit on it, you know the blinkers mirrors and stuff can i regester it with DMV? the reason for this is obvious if like to ride. light weight equals more time in the seat and i could go just about anywere.

I'm leaning towards an Evolution Sporty tricked like this-

Minus the super wide rear tire that would require a frame mod. Is it doable? Would it be economically feasable?

Had a Hornet and GSX600F which had to be sold on instruction of "she who must be obeyed". She hates bikes and I would be keen to obtain another, purely for commuting purposes ; )

1976 Honda CJ360T

After about 20miles (enjoy)drive, i've noticed leaks on the engine.

One is from where Tachometer cable is coming out. I am not sure what it looks like inside, but i could shake it and it was kind of loose. i am not sure if it is suppose to do that or not...

The other leak is from the valve cover gasket? or head gasket?
it was right below where the tach cable comes out.

Both places were bubbling out noticeably.

My first question is what do i have to do to stop the leak from where tachometer cable comes out? Is there a seal? or O-ring? or just screw in?

Second is the Gasket. I am having hard time finding Air Filter for this bike
where can i get the Gasket? I see alot of 76' CB360 parts.
are these parts interchangeable?

thank you

*If lift up all the way from 1st gear, will it put me in Neutral or 2nd gear? * If I am in one of the higher gears (5/6) do I have to downshift thru all gears to back to N?* When slowing down during a turn, do I apply pressure fully on brakes or only partially?* "Roll off"/"Roll on" throttle. which means away/toward you? *Why would I shift into lower gears ("engine braking"), when I could just use the brakes?

I was thinking about buying this bike. I like the looks and it handles better than most I bikes Ive ever been on. Anyone heard anything as far as reliablity goes? I know about the older ones. Any things I should look for when buying a used Buell?

I have a cr80 big wheel mx, it has a 19" front wheel which i believe to be not the normal size and was fitted to only certain years. Is this bike known as the cr80 Expert model, or is the Expert different in more ways and if so what ways? The colour is not the usual Honda red, but a sort of fire red? you know the one it's got an orange hint to it, and with the original blue seat is quite distinctive to that era. I'd like to touch up worn paintwork on the frame so any ideas where to get some of the necessary paint, and what is the name of that colour.
Thanks in anticipation.
