I have a honda hornet 600, and the front vibrates really badly as soon as I reach 40mph, garage says it's a design fault, but if this happened on my car, I'd go get the wheels balanced.

Can you balance bike wheels?

I have a Honda CD 70 motorcycle (70 cc, 4-stroke, CDI, single spark plug, 1993 model).

I want to know about it's starting mechanism. I mean when I use the kick, what happens? piston moves? coils produce current? what CDI does? what is condenser? what produces the spark? What is the sequence of events that leads to start after I use kick?

What is the role of battery in start in this model? What if the battery is weak? Will that effect the start?

I asked this question before but some guys asked for more information. Therefore I am asking this question again with all the required information:

I have a Honda 70 cc motorcycle (4-stroke, CDI, 1993 model). It was working fine in summer. But now in winter, it does not kick start. It needs pushing. Once the motorcycle gets started with pushing, it works fine. And if the engine is hot, you can restart it with kick. The problem of no kick start occurs only when the engine is cold. I should give some idea about temperature in winters. It does not go down to freezing. The lowest these days is about 3-4 C (40 F). Here we use motorcycles year around. Gas is new. Carburetor was cleaned very recently. Spark plug is almost new. What can be the possible problems/solutions?

I can't believe it happened. I know everybody will do it at some point. I was riding in the canyons and as I was cornering a car was driving on the wrong side of the road! I had to bail and just slide into the dirt. Luckily nothing major happened to my bike except for a few scratches and a cracked windscreen.

How did you fall and were you as pissed as I was?

I was riding along at about 35mph in 3rd gear when the engine seemed to tighten up and then stall. I changed down to 1st to bump start it with the momentum i had (seemed sensible at the time), it started a bit then went bang from somewhere at the back. It won't start at all now. I'm really upset!!! Any Ideas?
