No he didn't. He hit a motorcycle headon with his truck, killing the rider of the motorcycle.

No, Billy Lane did not die. While drunk, driving his pick up he killed a motorcyclist. He was passing illegally and will probably face manslaughter charges, though last I heard he had not been charged. I never liked that guy ,he seems like a sloppy reckless squid to me.

He needs help & clearly fame went to his head in the form of JD. ChoppersInc. web site indicates he's planning events & appearances into 2007 so he must be pretty optimistic about homicide charges? It's such a bummer too as he builds some of the hottest bikes around. Hope he gets it together somehow before he is dead.

last I heard he was arrested for DUI, not sure how that went. I think he hit someone, not sure if they were killed or not, but he might wish he was dead before it's all over.
