I asked this question before but some guys asked for more information. Therefore I am asking this question again with all the required information:

I have a Honda 70 cc motorcycle (4-stroke, CDI, 1993 model). It was working fine in summer. But now in winter, it does not kick start. It needs pushing. Once the motorcycle gets started with pushing, it works fine. And if the engine is hot, you can restart it with kick. The problem of no kick start occurs only when the engine is cold. I should give some idea about temperature in winters. It does not go down to freezing. The lowest these days is about 3-4 C (40 F). Here we use motorcycles year around. Gas is new. Carburetor was cleaned very recently. Spark plug is almost new. What can be the possible problems/solutions?

Can this be an electricity related problem? The battery is fine. When I turn the ignition on, the lights and horn work fine.

take ur spark plug out and keep it hooked to the spark plug wire. place it against the engine head or somethin metal to ground it properly kick the engine over a few times to see if ur getting a good bright blue spark if ur getting nothin at all or a very poor spark than u either have a bad coil or cdi or ur points are bad or arent making contact or ur condensor is bad also ur magneto flywheel could be bad. if u have good spark than u have a poor ring seal or a bad piston. also if u have low compression ur exhaust or intake valves could be stuck open. check the motor out hope this helps

I also asked that you post what model bike you have.
If it's a CT70, the battery has nothing to do with the running of the bike. The battery is only used for the lights. So the battery is not the problem.
--Check the cylinder compression - if it's below 100psi then the top end may need repair (cylinder, piston & rings).
--Check the valve clearance - if they're to tight, adjust them (like I said in my previous answer, tight or leaking valves will give those same symptoms).
--Perform a "leak down" test. That will tell you if the valves are leaking. If you're not mechanicaly inclined, get someone to do the test for you.
--Remove spark plug
--Bring piston to TDC of the compression stroke (both valves closed).
--With an air gun, blow compressed air into the spark plug hole.
--Listen at the exhaust pipe and air box.
--If you hear any hissing, then the valves are leaking. If the valves are adjusted properly, then the motor needs a valve job.

It's not electrical since kick and push are doing the same thing and the battery has nothing to do with it. The battery's only used for low RPM conditions to keep the lights on and bright. What problem are you having when you try to kick? Can't push it down (hard to kick)? It just goes down without lighting off (no resistance)? What sounds/feels different between kicking it cold vs kicking it hot? Does it go down easier?

Edit: Since you've asked a few times now, you might have better luck going to a bike forum like http://www.sport-touring.net in the Beginner's section or the mechanical one. You'll get more answers and be able to get some more helpful responses.

I once had an old Triumph like that. The first start of the day had to be a push start, after that, it'd kick start ok the rest of the day.
The problem was the points were shot, and because of the age of the bike, I couldn't find a new set of points. Changing over to a Joe Hunt magneto fixed that.
Where I'm going with all this, besides what everyone else says, also check out your points.

I would think you still have blokage in the slow speed circuit.Check the very small holes in front of the butterfly valve for the throttle on the engine side. You need to use a very fine strand of copper wire to clean this so you dont scratch the inside of the passage up.Use compressed air with a fine tip to blow it out. Also check your valve lash, the intake valve could be a little tight causing blowback to the carb.

do you have a good spark?? might be dodgy coil,
also
take battery off charge it up put back on in morning, try kick start if it fires up battery is losing its charge replace,

your lights & horn might work that does not mean your battery is ok after its been run it will have charged your battery up hence starts when warm,

chack the carb rubber for cracks/splits

are you using the choke on cold mornings???? because you need to

I would look for a fuel filter to make sure it is not pugged.
