depends on bike. its to control the air/fuel mix. is best to have the bike on a dyno after installing the pc to get everything dialed in.

If you have changed parts such as the exhaust and the air filter then you will maximize the benefit with a power commander because when on a rolling road it can be used to adjust the fueling to suit the new additions. If you are fitting it to a standard bike then you will notice a much improved throttle response and maybe an increase of 1 or 2 bhp giving the feeling of a much higher increase.

It can range from losing tons of power, to no power change at all, to increasing about 10% (that's about the best you'll ever get, a 10% improvement, with a few thousand $$$ tossed at the bike). All depends on how well it's set up, what elevation you're riding at, other mods to the bike, etc...

It'd be cheaper for you to sell the 600 and buy a liter bike if you want more power. That's always the cheapest route.

I don't know exactly how much the HP gain will be but you will definitely feel it!!!

Here are the Power Command Maps for that bike:

That way as you add or change stuff you can change the map to fit.

I love my Power Commander and highly recommend it over any of the factory tuners offered by the manufacturers
