My husband and I just had our first granddaughter. Before she was born, the parents told everyone that her name would be IX Dawg. The rest of the family and friends are buying the usual baby gifts; however, I was wondering if anyone knows of someone or somewhere who could provide a personalized baby motorcycle jacket. We don't have a lot of money to spend and it wouldn't matter if she couldn't fit into it for a couple of years, but I know the parents would love it. Thanks all.

I would hit some of your local leather shops. Something like your looking for should be able to be had for $60 depending on where you live.

There are a ton of custom leather shops on the web but you may find a much better deal if you wander into a couple of the local leather (or even seamstress) shops and strike up a friendly conversation with the proprietor (preferably a woman).

You said you don't have allot of money and real motorcycle jackets cost allot of money.

I recommend finding a jacket local at Wal-Mart, JC Penny etc that looks like a motorcycle jacket then taking it to a local print shop that does embroidery and patches.

That is the most cost effective way.

Here are a couple other ideas -

Get a Biker Vest with their name on it.
leatherup.com has cheap vests.

I did find some THOR MX PAJAMAS - http://www.cyclemartusa.com/shop/productdetail.htm?productId=2753105&browse=14763&shopBy=2352&catalogId=241

How About A biker T-Shirt and add the name accrss the back -

good question! i think of the clarification why is via the fact they are in basic terms going to rigidity on the city, yet they nonetheless a minimum of positioned on a helmet. whilst i'm out on the line I see motorbike drivers lots whilst the climate is heat, and at circumstances I see motorbike drivers no longer donning helmets at the same time as they are on the cycle despite if or no longer they seem to be a passenger or the motive force. now and back, I see the motive force in a T-shirt, shorts and turn flops and/or sandals. On a uncommon celebration, i'm going to verify somebody in all motorbike outfits at the same time with a leather-based jacket, long pants, boots, etc. What concerns me is that in the event that they become in touch in an twist of destiny and that they don't have the right outfits on.

Just drop into a local Harley dealer and see what they have, some have and some have not. Or even try out some of the leather stores in the major malls. Maybe even check the Salvation Army store or a Goodwill shop in your area.

Check you local shops for the jacket. Then you can order a patch from a local embroidery shop and stitch it on the jacket.

Another thought is check out the web. I found some on there for my daughter at a reasonable price.

did they really name the baby that? that's horrible. the biker jacket is a really cute idea, though, but you should shoot your child for naming her that! it depends on if you want a real leather jacket, or fake. go online and see what you can find out. motorcycle shops would probably charge an arm and a leg!

Check out the bike dealerships. If they don't have one on the shelf, they can probably get you one.
