When i start my truck my reverse sensor button says it's on. but when i switch it into reverse the button turns off and when i try and turn it back on it just switch's itself back to off. any suggestions? thanks

I have a 1970 Pontiac Le Mans 4dr HT, and I was wondering if anyone knows where i can find parts to pretty much re-do the whole interior or even somewhere in the St. Louis area that would re-do the whole thing for me for a pretty reasonable cost?. Its in good condition its just like a puke green color and i hate it :(

Temp. gauge on nissan sunny lx 1270cc petrol .
needle hardly moves even when engine is hot
Ihave changed sender & thermostat ,
When shorted down to deck needle swings ok
Any ideas ?

I had this trans rebuilt and guy guy sold me a 6 pad converter for a diesel. He said it would bolt up to my 350. I put the trans in mysely as I always do. It ran great for about 400 miles and went out again. I pulled it out and took it back. The pump gear went from the converter "not going in all the way". It also cracked the new flywheel. I put the trans back in with the new flywheel and cheched for endplay on the crank. Per the advise of the rebuilder I had to put washers between the converter and flywheel because of too much space. Other than that everything looked good. I drove it for about 1000 miles and it went out again! Rebuilder insists it's either something I did on the install or that it is my engine. I never had trans problems with the truck before. I did pull the engine to put new heads and to clean, repaint, and regasket it. I did not touch the lower half of the engine. This engine runs great amd strong. Please help!!

My front passenger floor is wet, my windows and windshield are fogged up even with the car is just sitting in the driveway. I am pretty sure the heater core is leaking due to the symptoms here, so does anyone know step by step how to replace it? Do you have to go near the airbags or is it safe to do this yourself?

i thought i was a pretty fair mechanic, but danged if i can find the horn in my mazda b4000 pickup. it don't beep anymore, and i thought maybe a loose wire, i checked the fuses, but i CANNOT find that horn anywhere!! can any mechanic help me find this elusive piece?? probably like a ford ranger. mine is a 1994. I have a truck and I am making monthly payments. It'll be mine in about 3 years -- title and all. I was looking into getting it repainted. Do I have to own the truck (with the title) before I can paint it a different color? Or can I have it painted even though I am still making payments on it.

My 4x4 in my 1988 S-10 suddenly stopped working. It had been working fine and when I went to put it in 4 wheel drive yesterday, I had no 4x4 [high or low]. The 5 speed seems fine otherwise.Any ideas ? It seems that I had to replace some `switch' a few years ago maybe on the transfer case, but I can't remember.

The temperature control switch broke right behind the face plate during the summer heat.

I have a new switch, but I'm not quite sure how to get the dash apart.

Should the entire dash pad come off or can the instrument cluster face pop out?

I have a 1991 gmc jimmy s15 4whd, it has a leak and the other day i was at the store and i filled it up way too much, i basically put an extra gallon in it, i dont know what i was thinking, so i started to drive it and it smoked so bad i couldnt see the cars behind me, so i pulled over and i opened the hood and saw smoke comming out of the carurator/fuel injectors, and i look in the carburator and there was oil all in it, what do i do so i can get my car running again, or am i screwed? please i need help fast this is my only car and i have school and a job, so anything will help, thank you.
