have a 84 s10 4x4 in good shape only has 88,000 miles that needs a new idlerarm and ball joints i only plan to keep the pickup for maybe 2 more years will the cheaper falcon parts work?

If they are the correct replacement part you shouldn't have a problem. There can't be that much of a price difference.
