Some shops offer OEM? other aftermarket cost of muffler depends on make of car $90. to $200. plus labor and wielding(it needed) i say about $350, to $500.
Try Midas or if you have local shop already picked out?
If you do it yourself/ need Jack and stands!
Wrenches and maybe a saw (Hack) with 3 good blades. remove old muffler clean edges of pipe from engine with sandpaper..Put on gasket(Parts place knows what one) add muffler wrench down hardware tight! then doo back same way.. should be how you like it.. Muffler (thurst brand)

That would all depend on what all needs replaced... best guess would be from about $100 to about $1000. If just muffler then about $100 to $200, but useally there is more to be replaced than just the muffler.

Well, it depends on the car. Some cars have more than one part to the muffler and some you need to buy one long piece. We replaced one on a Geo Metro about 4 years ago and it was around $300, the one for my Celica was about $500 so it all depends on the car. However, you can call for prices on the part itself (Auto Zone) so that you have an idea what the retail price is for the actual part then find yourself an honest mechanic. Some mechanics will let you buy the part and install it for you so that you only have to pay for the labor (about $55 an hour). Good Luck and Happy New Years!

local muff shop if buy muffler their an get installed . if just needs muffler will be under $100. an a lifetime warranty too
