My front passenger floor is wet, my windows and windshield are fogged up even with the car is just sitting in the driveway. I am pretty sure the heater core is leaking due to the symptoms here, so does anyone know step by step how to replace it? Do you have to go near the airbags or is it safe to do this yourself?

Thank you R1volta, I will check out that site.
Silverbullet, I do own 2 repair manuals thank you, so I spent the tune of $40, but usually if someone else has already done something, they can help you out with some tips and often times you can skip the stupid steps in the repair manuals. I know this from when we replaced my radiator this year. THanks though for your comments.........

Should be on the passenger side of the car. Look for two rubber hoses going into the firewall. That where your heater core is.

You crawl under the car, and pound on it with a hammer until the heater core falls out. then you threaten it verbally until it promises to stop leaking.

If you're going to own and operate a 10 year old vehicle with the intention of doing some of the service work yourself, you ought to have a repair manual. You can get them at any autoparts place for < $20.

Asking someone to type out complete repair instructions when you're not willing to help yourself to the tune of $20 is not reasonable.
