I have mazda pick up. Recently, it started to make a squealing noise around right passanger wheel when car goes up and down the bumps. The noise also happens when if I put my weight and shake the front right side of the car up and down. In other words, sound goes out only when the wheel ( car ) moves relatively fast vertically.
Do you know what is the problem ? What part do I need to replace/What should I do to fix the problem?
Thank you.

In the beginning of the year I was in an auto accident and was side swiped. Their insurance sent me a check which I cashed, and I took my car to one of their concierge shops. When I cashed the check I kept the money (I now know that it was the check for the estimate). I got my car after a month and have been driving it ever since (a time span of 5 - 7 months). I got a call yesterday stating they needed that money back and that a Mechanics Lien would be placed on my vehicle if they didn't receive it. I've tried searching for this but it doesn't really make any sense on google. I thought once they gave you the keys and you left the property the vehicle was yours and they couldn't collect anything after that. It was my first auto accident so I thought the money was mine because the receipts they gave me for the fix came out to be more than I was given and they said that was all that was needed. I am confused. What is a mechanics lien and do I legally need to pay them back?

i have a 1994 olds cutlass. For the past 2 months it will say coolant level low, but i go fill it and it only adds a little if needed. The light for low collant level comes and goes as i am driving it, everyday. Today driving home, my check engine light came on and notice my car was overheating and the low coolant light was on. Then when i drove on , the temp dropped fast and went back to normal. Could it be the thermostat is bad, or maybe something is in the radiator blocking some flow?

My friend is having problems with his 95 ford thunderbird. He said the brake lights, power seats, and transmission all broke at the same time. I'm guessing its a relay. Do you know what relay runs the brake lights and power seats or where I can get an owners manual for this car. Thanks!

I have a 1990 Pontiac Sunbird with 2.0L Fuel Injected 4cyl. engine and I just did a tune up about 3 months ago, so today I was checking the timing settings etc on it, when I decided to pull of some wires because I thought the firing order was set wrong, which it wasn't,...but anyhow a couple of the cap ends pulled out slightly, enough to see the wire behind them, and then they slid right back into the cap again...it still starts, and seems to run ok as before...but I'm wondering if I should replace the cap anyway's...?

i resently bought a porsche 944 non-turbo 1985.5 and when i take it to the mechanic he told me that the engine is leaking oil from the crank shaft oil seal im just wondering if i can get any advices form 944 owners or experienced mechanic if the oil is leaking should i change the timing belt and tensioner and get a reseal kit. The kit contains every one of the seals that i need to stop the front of the engine from leaking. That would be the seals for the crankshaft, camshaft, and the two balance shafts and transparent mylar washers on the camshaft and balance shafts. and right now how many miles can i drive without gambling my timing belt break in the middle of the road im planing the change the belt in the spring of 08 a do everything together. and wouldnt the oil leak weaken the belt if its petro based correct me if im wrong.

I put a new performance alternator in my car and the belts and pully's line up almost perfectly to the way it was before when the stock alternator was in. However even though the belts and pully's are in line the belt still squeaks but only when I first start it up. Why does it do this? I thought it might be the belts isnt tight enough. Any other ideas?

I have a 96 toyota corrolla, last week the car would start but it sounded alot "slower" whenever i cranked it. It did this the whole week sometimes it started right up without the hesitation but it never not started when i turned the key. Tonight I went outside and it had the hesitation and then it was followed by click click click.....i tried to restart it a little later and it sounded like it wanted started but ended in the click again. the lights are on in the car, radio, etc...the outside lights appear to be a little dim. Could this be the battery or could this be the starter or something completely different..i'm a woman so give me a break lol

My rear "check engine" light keeps going on (w/ no code-only when hot/congested traffic), and my mechanic said this is a sign the catalytic convertor could be starting to go. So, I have to keep going back/waiting until the code is for bad catalytic convertor.

Are there any other signs that will tell me when it finally decides to conk out?

my motorcycle riding friends wants to know if you can control fuel consumption by means of not pulling throttle level too much? I mean, if you pull less throttle on bikes, does it help in lessening fuel consumption. and that, a full throttle means a fully open carburator valve which means higher fuel consumption.is it right?

What do i need to install a supercharger on a 1.5L engine, it might sound a little silly but my friend got a toyota corolla or at least had one that was supercharged. I asked him if he knew but he bought it that way and he knows nothing about cars and which is why his car is gone. Anyways what do i need? if its even possible to install a supercharger, i would install a turbo but supercharagers are easyer to install and i have a perfect spot for it. Do i need intercooler, wastegate, and all those diffrent things, or can i just slap it on there connect a belt and reprogram my ECU and iam good to go. Or will i need all those things? To tell you the truth my car is not even a sports car or nothin, its actually an 02 ECHO, but i know its possible to put a turbo on it ive seen a few before, but a supercharger i dont know, thats why iam here to ask the pros, waht will i need, where to get it, and what size supercharger should i run.

and the response was since the car has 143K miles on it, the cam and lifters always make a little noise, and may need to be replaced down the road. The car has always run great, and doesnt smoke either from the exhaust or the oil filler cap. The ticking noise only happens when it idles. When running at any rpm above idle, the noise goes away. I have the car for sale locally for $1400, bottom dollar. A guy (a mechanic, he says), come and looked at the car this evening, insists the noise is the "wrist pins", because he knows. He offered me $900 for the car, since, according to him it needs serious motor work. My response was as far as i know it may be the "cam and lifters". I told him, "Why would you want to buy any car for $900, if it needed all that work?" The car is virtually perfect otherwise, i have maintained it very well. Was he pulling my leg? How would i know for sure if the "wrist pins" were bad? Thank you in advance....
