Damn auto body shop crashed my car and I just noticed that he mirror had broke and they tried to glue it. In the mean that until I take it back, what can I use to hold it together?? Thanks.

I have a 91 Honda Accord, and there is some moisture in the trunk, and it smells like the first stages of mildew growth may be setting in. I live in Seattle, and it's not exactly warm outside this time of year, so it seems pointless to open the trunk and let it "air out" (especially b/c it's been raining for the last couple of days). Any advice on how I can clean/dry the trunk? Oh, and I live in an apartment, so hooking up a hair-dryer to an extension cord isn't going to work.

I have a 2000 dodge ram 1500 4x4 with a 318, it has 100,000 miles. My transfer case has started leaking right in the middle of the case where the two sections connect. Is there a gasket in there or something else?

For a while the a/c would only work on the higher settings. Now it's totally broken. Only blows warm air on all settings. Now there are little black particles blowing out of the air vent located on the back of the center console. Particles look like pieces of sponge, but when you touch it, there's a greasy substance on it. People have told us we may need to replace the "compressor". Does this sound right? If so, how much can we expect to pay??

within 3 weeks both covers to my tail lights broke off. dealer says they are $190 a piece!!!! I've seen a couple others in my boat so not sure if its a common problem. any suggestions as to alternate stores or websites would be helpful.

what do you think..? gonna throw it in my old toyota corolla (FR) 1986.. for Drift -show event..now it running on 4AGE twincam 1600 but sill crave for power..

I have a 1998 Windstar with 117,000 miles on it and a 3.8 V6. It's got a couple problems. It has a lower engine noise. And the belt isn't loud but it sounds like I'm pulling a cheese grater across the table. It runs fine when I'm driving. The oil light comes on and stays on the service engine soon light is on as well. The car has low oil pressure when it's idle but when I rev on it the oil light goes off. Like if I stop at a red light the oil light comes back on. I took it to autozone and I looked up the code to discover one of the IMRC'S were stuck open. Can you close one once it's stuck open or do you just have to buy a new one? Also my back door the lock won't unlock unless I climb back there and pull the latch up. It won't open from using the key or pushing the button. Lock silenoid maybe? I checked the oil it doesn't need any. Thanks.

I got to work at 8:15 this morning left for lunch at 12:45 got in my car and found it still running with the keys in it It runs so quiet iI can't tell if it is on It is a 1995 corsica The heat gauge was on half My gas was lower usually the heat gauge is on 1/4 Should i get oil changed ?

Hi,i have a moped and was comming home on it earlier,It is a 125cc and i was doing top speed on it most the way back.Then i was comming into the city and came up to some traffic lights,then the next thing u know it just stopped and would not start again,tank was half full of petrol.does anyone have any idea what it could be thanks

my 1997 dodge dakota 4x4 is in the shop getting all 4 ball joints replaced, both front shocks, and also a freeze plug replaced. plus an alignment once everything else is done. about how much is all this going to cost? any idea?

I have a 1996 Ford Aspire 1.3L engine and I can't find the oil pressure relief valve assembly. The repair manual says this is one place to look for when you have high oil pressure. It says it might be sticking closed. I don,t know what it looks life or where on the engine it is located. Can anyone help. Thank you , Roger

I have a friend who has a 1977 Porche, not the ugly looking one but the nice looking one. It never ever even had an oil change cause it's only been driven 2,500 miles. What am I looking at to get this thing working again, and I'm talking about money. Is there a chance it could just start back up with some fluid and belt changes?

So I called up my mechanic and they were telling me about a part that was needing replacing and just for fun I wanted to look up info about it. But I'm not sure on the spelling. I tried different ways with google but nothing seemed to be right.

and I feel silly calling the shop back up and asking "how do you spell that?"

ok it sounded to me like

lock up "seel-a-oh-knee"
I first tried cilanoy

but nothing came up. If I remember them explaining it to me, it might have been to do with the transmission

A couple days ago my battery light would light up after I started my car, after a couple minutes it would go off. Today on the way home from work my car died. Got a jump drove a couple miles, died again. Got another jump but this time once the cables were removed it would just die. I am curious if I am just dealing with a dead battery or an alternator problem. Any guesses on how much this will cost me? I have a '98 Ford Escort ZX2

I dont want to end up stranded for not having gas, but I can't rely on my fuel gauge. To a certain extent I know the van has gas in it because I just put some in, but I just didnt fill it up with gas prices being what they are. The needle will rise up to about a fourth of a tank, then drops to below the E line. Is this something fixable and how expensive would it be on a 97 caravan?

I own a 2000 toyota celica and finding parts for it is hard, finding CHEEP parts are almost impossible.. I would even buy a written off Celica to strip parts of of, if I could find one. I am specificly looking for a sunroof rail for less than $100, but other specalty parts are welcome too... and yes I have tried ebay
