moped broken...?

Question

Hi,i have a moped and was comming home on it earlier,It is a 125cc and i was doing top speed on it most the way back.Then i was comming into the city and came up to some traffic lights,then the next thing u know it just stopped and would not start again,tank was half full of petrol.does anyone have any idea what it could be thanks

Hi Sounds like you were pushing the bike pretty good on the way home.I would say you have a electrical problem.I think something opened up or welded close in the system .I can not remember if you have points or a generator for spark.Some thing over heated on the way home.Good Luck.
