You are fine. The engine can handle that without any problems. I wouldn't recommend an oil & filter change unless you were ready for one anyway. I have been in the car business and am POSITIVE you have no worries, so if someone else responds that you do, don't even listen 'coz they're WRONG.

I drove my car almost 16 hours from Texas to Virginia at about 80 mph the whole way. So your car should be just fine.

I went to concert one time and left my car running for about that same amount of time..4 hours or so. I never had any problems accept for the teasing I took for being stupid.

I think you're ok. I had to drive my car from Florida to New Hampshire, it took 23 hours. I've had it for almost 4 years. I think you're ok, besides, cars are made to run.

No worries. Truckers sometimes leave theirs on 24/7 with no damage. Count yourself very lucky someone didn't notice, and steal your car.

I wouldn't make a habit of it. About all you all doing is wasting fuel. You should have no problem with your vehicle. You drive by construction site & see pickups that have sitting idling four hours.

You just allowed your engine to idle for 4 hours....

you wasted gasoline, you added a bit more wear on you engine....that's about it.
