every car has what is called a heater core its underneath ur dash it can be possible that its leaking in ur car and u just are looking in the wrong spot... usually their are 2 hoses coming off the water pump and they run in to the heater core and it takes the heat from twhat the engine is producing and thats how u get ur heat.. or u have a cracked hose id check to c if ur radiators full tooand if it isnt it means it has a leak somwhere or u have a blown head gasket but the car would have to be running awfull for that to be a possibility but check ur heater core, ur radiator hoses, and possibly the radiator itself and the water pump.

Traveling down the highway with the windows closed and the heater blower on, any antifreeze smell would indicate a defective heater core under your dash. Also, if you have a slimy film coating the inside of your windshield, that would tend to confirm that your heater core is leeching antifreeze into your cabin air stream.

If your smelling anti-freeze you have a leak someplace, it might not be big enough to make it to the ground but apparently it's leaking onto the engine and when hot it is burning and thats what your smelling, check around thermostat area or under the heads.

try checking the oil if it looks like a milkshake then you have a bad head gasket..
this wil need to be replaced at a shop so that every thing befor and after the change can be checked right....

if milke shake is there DO NOT DRIVE THE CAR this would make it more expensive to fix......

It may be burning/evaporating off before it leaks. I would suggest having it checked by a mechanic.

check the exhaust, if the smoke is white it could also be the head gasket. Check on the passanger side carpet for a wet spot. This is a dead give away for a heater core failure.

Maybe your radiator hose is cracked. Maybe you should air out your car for a couple of hours and the smell will diminish.
