My 2001 Grand AM GT has 2 12's in the trunk running off a 800 watt amp. The upper part of my back seta, where the (stock) 6X9's are located is rather loose and rattles constantly. Especially the factory covers on the 6X9's. How can i stop the rattling? I have already pushed down on the area above my back seats and it is not taunt, which i believ it is why it rattles. Also in my trunk, where the bottom part of the 6X9's are located (upper trunk area) seems to be rattling. Any suggestion on things i could purchase or do to help the rattling woul be greatly appreciated!! Thank You All!!

Could someone tell me if the car sometimes starts but has to be jumped other times...could that be the starter? Would I have to replace the starter? Does it have a solenoid? The battery is new, so I don't think it is that. Thanks for any help.

I have this 2000 Ford F-150, it is having trouble engaging the front diff so it can shift into 4x4 properly, if I shift into 4x4 at like 30 mph it grinds if I am moving very slow it doesn't. Its not the transfer case or the front diff, it is a vaccume problem. What are the things that go bad on these? Any advice

I have a 2000 honda civic and the heat works, but smells like oil really bad, especially when I turn the vent/fan on. It is cold and weather is snowy. I turn it on, but roll my windows down for the smell. What can this be? car does not overheat, enough fluids everywhere else, and no leaks in the car.

First my truck tuned off, I thought it was because it was low on gas, I put gas, it worked a little but then turned itself off and then it wouldn't turn back on so I replaced the fuel filter, that seemed to work and it turned on but when I stepped on the gas it seemed like it was choking, and turns off, like the gas doesn't go through or something; and now it just wont turn on, lights come on and everything, radio, etc. but the truck won't. Someone looked at it & told me he thinks I need to replace the fuel pump, & it will be around $600-$700. how can i be sure it is the fuel pump. I'm really scared to get ripped off. I don't mind paying whatever it takes for my truck, as long as they fix what ever needs to be fixed and they do it right.

I have a 2005 Toyota 4Runner and, for some reason, the rear windshield wiper is not working. (Also, cleaning fluid does not come out on the back windshield.) The front wipers work fine. Before I call the dealership, does anyone have any suggestions on what the problem might be and some solutions I can try. The car is still under warranty but I am always leary of taking my car to the shop if I don't have to b/c it always ends up costing me SOMETHING. Thanks for your help!

The light turned yellow at the stoplight, so we couldn't stop because it would be a very hard stop. So my dad actually floored the durango and it have no power to it at all. I mean, it made an effort noise, but it really didn't go! So we ended up getting flashed by the redlight camera....we're waiting for the fine.

Are durango's just slow, or does it really need a tune-up? Its a V8...just the regular kind.
