remove the valve cover and adjust the valve.
that is tap dancing.

i had a chevy once that made a tapping noise and i put some cd2 in it.just change the oil and add a can of it to the crankcase.it helped mine.

Most additives will just cover the noise up or not help at all....
Gonna cost more, but it'll be alot better down the road if your gonna keep it, to have the valves serviced....

try Lucas oil treatment.

If it is a manual valve adjust car get your valves adjusted!
