i put it in 4 wheel drive high the tranalxe wors but the hubs wont lock in 4 wheel drive i like to findout of anyone can tell me how to fix it

Check vacuum lines to switch on transfer case. If no leaks found most likely a bad vacuum switch or servo located under battery.

I think the hubs are vacuum operated. There should be a vacuum line going to the front axle. Check for cracks or leaks.

I had a short bed K-10 85' and mine did NOT have automatic hubs.

Are you sure they're automatic?

Try spinning the center dial on the hub to "lock"

nicely you probably did no longer say if it develop into computerized or handbook yet i'm assuming that is computerized shift.that is you push a button to alter it over. the two you have broken the solenoid on the area of the flow case or probable bent the linkage or possibly broke a cord or the plug the place it hooks into the area of the flow case.
